Kudos!

This is very well done. I like the retro style graphics (nothing new there but I like this). I like the innovative controls requiring no clicking. And I like the fact that the game pauzes if your mouse is outside the screen! This because often in this type of games it becomes confusing if you accidently move the mouse pointer outside the Flash window while in the heat of the battle, and you die, which this game solves :)

Tentaculous!

This game is pretty good. Quite addicting. This concept has been used often but the tentacle cutting is something new I think.

My only remarks are: The tentacle cutting needs to be explained more clearly in the beginning, I only discovered it by chance and it's required to solve some levels. And this game needs more levels, bigger levels, or a skirmish mode or so, to have replay value.

This game is really hard

The game is amazing, the 3D feel, the immersion, the story unfolding through the radio. But the game is also really hard. I already got all upgrades long ago. I'm in the "North Side Park" level now and just can't get past it. And I've got 7000+ money that I can't use because there are no upgrades left. I wish there were just more upgrades for those who find it hard to get past the later levels.

Most dissapointing Cuboy content so far

All other Cuboy submissions, both movies and game, were MUCH better.

100x better than Epic Battel Fantasy 1 & 2

This game makes you WANT to finish it! I've got already 9 hours of gameplay so far on normal and am not finished yet (I'm in the cat's world). Add to that the playing on higher difficulties later and collecting of all medals, and this game must be one of the games with the highest amount of FUN playing hours on all of NG.

This game rocks!

Yes, this is an oldskool classing, and a GOOD one! After many hours of fun, I finally got all the medals, and, a top-10 score! (5.6 million). Got to level 25 :)

My only remarks: the lightning & thunderstorm thing is quite annoying, you don't see all enemies anymore while the lightning happens (annoying when trying to get the 1000 chain). And, the "all gold" and "all platinum" medal achievements are too close together: to kill the highest two boss monsters, you need to get pretty close to level 20 anyway, and that is also the hardest platinum achievement.

But the game is pretty *perfect*!

My review

Nice graphics, nice music (indeed, my ears did not bleed as you mentioned in the description).

This game has a mysterious message or meaning (I don't fully get it).

The controls were annoying though. It didn't always register a jump, and for every jump holding space was required. Better just get rid of the space and make it always be in run mode, or invert the meaning of the space: no space = run, pressing space = walk slowly. And yeah as some people said, get rid of the mouse and let you use a key instead to trigger things. And support the arrow keys too!

Great!

The different weapon types made the game really challenging! Trying to get the gold rewards for each castle was a really fun puzzle, for this try the parachute, for that try the acid, another requires the fused bomb, and so on. The secret weapon was cool. But I was missing one type of uber-bomb type: a regular exploding bomb with a HUGE explosion. Or one that has exploding fragments. Think super banana bomb of Worms.

My review

The good:
-the action
-the graphics (sprites, backgrounds, ...)
-the guns
-the story (yeah, so cheesy it's good)

The bad:
-the fact that there's always enemies everywhere. It's nicer when some spots have enemies, some not, and you can't predict how many enemies the next spot will have, if any. Now you can predict it: whenever you move a bit, you'll encounter 2 or 3 new enemies, always, guaranteed.
-the leveling up and XP stops already at max while only half in level series 2?
-so many facebook related achievements

Lovely

Lovely game and atmosphere. A work or art. The wall jumping could have been explained better imho, it took me a very long while to figure it out. The trick is: the down arrow should be kept pressed, don't release it until making the actual jump, while the left or right arrow (depending on the side of the wall) must be used all the time to adjust your position so that you're not going downwards while holding the down key but at the same time don't go too high so that your ship is positioned such that it'll jump upwards when finally releasing the down key.

fear not man who practice thousand attacks once. fear man who practice one attacks, thousand times.
