Love it

I love this game! Some puzzles are really challenging. I don't think I've seen this exact type of puzzle ever before. It's also fun that some monster sounds are more rare than others.

I got a medal saying that "somehow" I was able to solve a puzzle in fewer than star moves :D I did it by using the R key and then really quick mouse action to drag a monster falling down to the right with a white block, in a way apparently not predicted by the designer of the original levels :D

Nutcasenightmare responds:

Did not know someone could be quick enough to do that, so...
Sloooowwwwwww dowwwwnnnnn.

But thanks all the same! Play on, fellow monster.

iPhone and iPad references

I'm surfing on Newgrounds now, playing games on Newgrounds. I don't need references to a "superior" version on "other platforms" while I'm enjoying Newgrounds.

Buzzwerd responds:

Why not? We give you a free flash game for your comp, and a free game in case you wanna play on your phone since flash doesn't work with iOS. Don't really see your point.

Kind of interesting

It's interesting to learn RGB computer colors for non-programmers, non-webdesigners or non-graphics artists.

Though I think there should also be a subtractive color mode. I mean, like painters mixing paint. They start from white and have to turn it into black by mixing paints, rather than starting from black and turning it into white like in this game :)

JernoBill responds:

The CMY-Colorcanvas is in queue! :)

Great!

You produce some good stuff, man! While the previous one remains my favorite, I loved the humor in this one. So many references! Nice music too.

Press one of those buttons to deal with this... *puts sunglasses on*... pressing situation.

PuffballsUnited responds:

YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Way too short

Only one level???

I love the concept of this

I love the concept of this, it has a lot of potential!

But you should definatly remake this outside of any contests or jams. I think the quality of things from contests and jams is usually pretty low, while the idea can be pretty good, since it's unfinished, rushed, etc.... That's also the case here.

But the idea is superb! What a nice way to learn morse!

Here are some suggestions:

-use letters instead of numbers to select enemies. The numbers are too long to enter.
-make the long tone shorter. In movies, long tones of morse code are shorter than the long tones required in this game. Sometimes I intend a long tone but it interprets it as a short tone.
-as others said, if there's one enemy, don't require selecting it with a number at all.
-have a working store
-allow assigning levels to defense and attack and such yourself
-longer game, more maps, more enemy types, more variation, ...

Grent responds:

Des and I are a bit tired of working on this game (spending 60-something of the past 72 hours will do that to you), so we may or may not do a remake/sequel. As for the tone length, it was a little long as opposed to most actual Morse transmission speeds, but I figured there were enough people who would not be able to use it at the original speeds to justify slowing it down a bit. I will say, I did consider changing the enemy numbers to letters for exactly the reason you mentioned, but when the idea came up, we were too far into the process to change it.

Cool but a few glitches?

It's cool, I like the fights and the music along with it. But I think I encountered a few glitches: first of all, there was constantly a chip in the top left saying "Connecting to newgrounds gateway", as if it couldn't connect. Despite that, I did get the NG medals in my NG account! Second, is it normal (in easy mode, but still....) that the goal is 7,500,000 points, and the amount of points I have is something like 40,000,000 if not 400,000,000 with a multiplier of 140 or so? That seems like a way too easy goal!

ZEGMAN responds:

Yes, the goals are very low, sorry about this!

I wish

Most things I want to say have already been said in other reviews, so I won't repeat them here.

What I'd like to add is that I really wish there was a FUN "endless mode", instead of an endless mode that becomes too hard to win before you can buy all the upgrades you wanted, and that adds so many white blood cells and antibiotica to the screen that the game starts to lag...

At the very least, allow replaying earlier levels with your latest upgrades, to be able to actually ENJOY those upgrades! Buying an upgrade isn't enjoyable if the next level becomes impossible (in endless mode).

HeRetiK responds:

What is this FUN you are talking about? Seriously though, I think you're onto something, I'll keep your idea of an easy endless mode for just messing around in mind.

The chat bot...

What chat bot is that? E.g. here's a conversation:

Archon68: Why you come on my yard and kick my dog? WHY?
You: thy
Archon68: What you said was either too complex or too simple for me.
You: k
Archon68: Yikes!
You: :)
Archon68: I am so glad you find this amusing, Horse **** **** me Hard.

I mean, what chat bot does that? :)

Archawn responds:

WHAT?!

Very good

The first two were very predictable. They all were funny.
I liked the music at the end.
And poor him stuck in the wall. Is that a broken arm what does the extra black stick represent?

PuffballsUnited responds:

It's actually supposed to be his leg. It's kinda hard to tell.
